Come Listen To A Prophet's Voice

Today marked the start of the 182nd Annual General Conference of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. The General Conferences were today from 11-1pm and 3-5pm and it will be the same tomorrow.

Clinton and Benjamin attended the Priesthood Session tonight from 7-9pm. They met other priesthood members from the ward at Culver's in Downers Grove for ice cream. Following the broadcast, the YM leaders, YM, and their fathers went to Every Day's a Sundae in Downers Grove for ice cream, too. What a fun night for them. Benjamin and Clinton still haven't arrived home yet and it is 10:00pm. I take it they are having a good time chatting with others. I'm glad. They need those opportunities.

General Conference is a wonderful time to "Come Listen to a Prophet's Voice and Hear the Savior, too" as the song says. I love listening to our living prophet, President Thomas S. Monson, and all the other General Authorities and leaders of the church.

The kids worked on their General Conference packet that they received in Primary. There were games, activities, and coloring. I think they enjoyed their General Conference Bingo game since they were given edible treats to place on their Bingo cards.
